Shipping Assistant
- Salary : SGD2,300 - SGD 3000
- Working hours: Monday - Friday 830am to 6pm
- Location: Nearest MRT (Sembawang / Admiralty)
Job Requirements
- Relevant working experience
- Experience with import/export regulations and customs procedures
Job Responsibilities
- Manage shipment documents (e.g., invoice, packing list, bill of lading) to facilitate seamless customs clearance
- To co-ordinate with warehouse team for export/import shipment preparation (i.e. cargo pick up, shipping marks)
- Liaise with freight forwarder on cargo space and shipment arrangement
- Resolving any issue or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process
- Handle order modifications, cancellations, and requests for returns or exchanges
- Monitor and follow up on shipment status
- Advise and provide freight cost to sales department
- Monitor shipping costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality
