Job Description

1. Communicate and liaise with various internal/external parties as well as Freight Forwarders / Carriers pertaining to Shipments and Orders.

2. Ensure that all shipment arrangements are done with Freight Forwarders / Carriers professionally in proper manners with necessary document trail.

3. Ensure that latest and up-to-date Import and Export Policies and Procedures of target countries, which the company is doing business with, are well understood and followed accordingly.

4. Source and negotiate with the Freight Forwarders / Carriers to ensure that company receive the best rates at required service level.

5. Perform LC application, LC negotiation and all LC related matters in timely manner.

6. Prepare and arrange shipping documents such as Invoices, Packing List, Bill of Lading, as well as Marine Cover Note / Insurance policy, Outward Declaration Permit, FORM D, etc.

7. Prepare Shipping Instruction and follow up on delivery status to report to concern parties in timely manners.

8. Prepare and arrange Pre-shipment inspection and reporting.

9. Compile for shipment status report and actively tracking and resolving any issues / problems with all concerns parties.

10. Perform day-to-day office operation, administration and management duties.

11. Responsible to perform Logistic and Operation processes and documentation efficiency improvement initiatives to improve the overall Operation Efficiency within the Company.

12. Required to work independently and proactively to effectively deliver the results while reporting to the top management in timely and concise manner for effective decision making process.

13. Ensure HR activities and policies comply with government regulations.

14. Work with Auditor and ensure timely filling on income tax returns

15. Communicate with Banks on all banking related matters.

16. Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that the Company may require you to perform from time to time.


1. At least 5 years of working experience in managing logistics and operations activities.

2. Strong interpersonal skills and resourceful in problem solving.

3. Strong team player, positive thinking, hands-on, and highly organized.

4. Basic concept of accounting knowledge

5. Familiar with accounting software such as Quickbooks.
