Our client is an Engineering Equipment industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Logistics & Supply Chain Ops Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in West.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and customer service functions.
- Drive supply chain planning initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
- Lead and supervise logistics teams to ensure smooth daily operations and performance alignment.
- Manage inventory control, order fulfilment, and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee warehouse management, including space optimisation, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and annual stock take.
- Coordinate delivery scheduling, maintenance of warehouse facilities, and support repair activities where required.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse operational data, and implement improvement actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards across logistics activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure effective coordination across the supply chain.
- Evaluate and implement system or process improvements, including logistics technologies to enhance efficiency.
- Manage logistics budgeting, reporting, and periodic performance reviews (monthly and quarterly).
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Business Management or relevant studies equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with logistics systems such as SAP or similar platforms
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
