Logistic Executive

Job Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations

. Manage full spectrum of logistics operations including import/export customs clearance and domestic cargo transportation, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

. Liaise with freight forwarders, sales teams, customers, and haulage teams to ensure accurate and timely document preparation, cargo delivery, and issue resolution.

. Review and confirm shipping document drafts, coordinating with internal and external parties to prevent discrepancies or delays.

. Monitor inventory levels of oil products, optimize warehouse utilization, and coordinate timely distribution.

. Responsible for GST and logistics-related expenses reporting through the BOP system.

. Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange delivery of spare parts or materials to Batam for customers or internal engineers.

2. Supply Chain Coordination

. Oversee procurement, warehousing, and distribution processes on the logistics end to support uninterrupted supply chain operations.

. Communicate with Sinopec Singapore regarding credit limit extensions to improve cash flow and purchasing flexibility.

. Prepare monthly funding plans and submit applications to support procurement and logistics planning.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

. Ensure all operations comply with local and international trade regulations, customs laws, and internal policies.

. Handle unexpected logistics issues such as customs inspections, delays, or damages, and develop contingency plans.

. Review and improve logistics processes regularly to ensure compliance and minimize risks.

4. Cost Control & Performance Monitoring

. Track and analyze logistics expenses, propose cost-saving strategies, and support budgeting activities.

. Use BOP system to process and report customs clearance charges and GST.

. Monitor and coordinate oil product transportation to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of warehousing, storage, and distribution best practices
