Logistic Coordinator (Jurong island)

Job description

• Coordinate daily operations at third-party logistics sites

• Review and optimize inventory replenishment to meet targets and ensure on-time delivery

• Communicate with production units and other sites to coordinate loading schedules

• Monitor order distribution to optimize unit productivity (blending, filtration, keg, etc.)

• Integrate affiliate orders into the system

• Manage freight payables and additional delivery charges

• Handle order exceptions and customer complaints

• Participate in third-party logistics service provider performance reviews

• Collaborate with Global Supply Planning for inventory target setting and stewardship

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols (DOIMS)

• Address daily operational issues using problem-solving and negotiation skills

• Coordinate physical inventory counts and manage slow-moving/obsolete goods (SMOG)

• Track package recertification dates and coordinate recertification

Job Requirement

• At least a Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Chemical Process Technology or Chemical Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant working experience.

• Experience/knowledge of logistics, operations or supply chain management are preferred.

• Experience in inventory replenishment review using SAP MRP.

• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Team player with good interpersonal skills.

• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
