We are recruiting Locum Speech Therapist/ Senior Speech Therapist to provide speech therapy intervention (assessment, intervention, consultation and evaluation).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess individual therapy needs of clients using standardized assessment tools and assessment forms.
- Facilitate development of appropriate and effective tools for identification, assessment, intervention of clients.
- Formulate and implement individual / group therapy program for clients.
- Provide intervention for clients on a one-to-one basis, group, class, work experience or special setting based on the needs of the clients.
- Evaluate and document clients therapy needs and progress regularly and review the effectiveness of the intervention.
- Provide consultation and update clients status to the relevant staff members and caregivers.
- Work in collaboration with staffs and caregivers for the effective enhancement of services.
- Work with external agencies e.g., hospitals, external therapists for the effective enhancement of services.
- Maintain and update clients case files with relevant documentation records and reports.
- Conduct relevant in-house training for staffs and caregivers.
- Develop and review department and related policies in conjunction with the management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Full AHPC Registration
- 2-3 years of experience
- Passionate in Speech and Language Therapy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in local languages will be an advantage
- Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning and education in the field of Speech and Language Therapy
