Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, educate patients on procedures, and monitor vitals.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform venepuncture, insert intravenous (IV) cannulas, and administer contrast media or medications.
- Interventional Support: Assist radiologists with specialized, often invasive, imaging procedures (e.g., angiography, biopsies) under sterile conditions.
- Equipment & Safety: Ensure radiology equipment is functional and sterile adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, concise clinical records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing. Valid SNB+BCLS.
- Previous working experience in nursing, experience in operating theaters, intensive care (ICU), or emergency settings preferred.
