Responsibilities for Physiotherapists:
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments using appropriate clinical outcome measures.
- Develop individualized care plans and establish patient-centred treatment goals.
- Deliver therapy interventions in patients home settings.
- Provide caregiver education, training, and recommend appropriate assistive equipment.
- Coordinate discharge planning and refer patients to relevant community or healthcare services when required.
- Participate in monthly home therapy team meetings.
- Conduct therapy in-service training and attend departmental training and professional development programmes.
- Perform administrative duties and any other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications for Physiotherapists:
- Recognized Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to independently conduct patient assessments and deliver physiotherapy interventions in a home care setting.
- Competent in developing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs and rehabilitation goals.
