Job Description

We are actively hiring for a client in a Special Education School setting in Singapore and we wish to invite interested therapist to apply the role.

Job Code: SSESW04/02/OT
Locum Occupational Therapist - 6 months contract ( Option to renew )

Clinical Services

  • Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments using appropriate tools to identify student needs.

  • Set intervention goals and deliver individualized therapy plans in collaboration with students, families, and school teams.

  • Manage caseloads to provide consultation and evidence-based individual or group interventions, working with teachers, families, and external providers where needed.

  • Monitor and evaluate therapy outcomes on an ongoing basis.

  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and family communications.

  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines in collaboration with the Head of Student Support or Principal.

  • Support curriculum and program development, including sensory regulation, handwriting, physical development, daily living, and vocational skills.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary assessments for school admissions.

  • Assess and recommend Occupational Therapy-related access arrangements for national examinations, where applicable.

Coaching & Training

  • Deliver parent workshops and conduct in-house training for internal and external stakeholders.

Continuing Professional Development

  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in Occupational Therapy, particularly in autism.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training activities.

  • Comply with organizational policies, processes, and professional codes of conduct.

Project Schedule

  • Projected Commencement: from March 2026 onwards
  • Project Duration: 6 months
  • Frequency: 3 full days per week (excluding Public Holidays and School Holidays)
  • Competitive hourly remuneration covered with Medical Malpractice + Complimentary access to CPE events conducted by Pacific Rehab Group
  • Bachelor or Masters in Occupational Therapy
  • Must be a Fully Registered AHPC ( Singapore )
