Locum Occupational Therapist (GOVT/Office Hours/West) - 60 per hr/Flexible HAO

Salary: $60/hr

Duration: 6 months

Working Days & Hours: Mon & Fri 830am to 5.30pm

Location: Queenstown

Job Description:

• . Conduct comprehensive assessments for inpatients with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, TBI, SCI,)
• . Develop and implement individualised therapy plans targeting:
• o ADLs and IADLs
• o Cognitive & perceptual rehabilitation
• o Upper limb function and motor recovery
• . Apply evidence-based neurorehabilitation approaches (e.g., task-specific training, motor relearning)
• . Recommend and prescribe assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications
• . Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team on goal setting and care planning
• . Support discharge planning, including caregiver training and home/environmental recommendations
• . Monitor and document patient progress using standardised outcome measures

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Occupational Therapy & VALID AHPC w min 2 yrs of relevant experience
