Job Description:
Procurement Planning and Negotiation:
- Drive SPX cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and continuous process improvement.Conduct tenders and procurement exercises based on operational requirements, ensuring optimal vendor selection and commercial terms.Analyze market trends and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and service enhancement
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage locker vendors on procurement process, manufacturing quality, product reliability, and after-sales service performance
Project management:
- Lead end-to-end projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, delivery capacity, and service performance. Collaborate closely with Operations and other cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives. Track and report project milestones, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes
Policy & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and SOPs. Monitor and enforce compliance with MOM regulations and relevant government guidelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with teams across Operations, Finance, Legal and Regional teams. Present regular updates and insights to senior management in clear, concise reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical thinking.
- Internship or working experience in relevant fields such as Procurement, Accounting, Supply Chain Operations
- Proficient in Excel
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and cross-functional environments
