Loan Operations Analyst

Our client is an international bank and they have a few job openings for the Loan Operations Analyst position

This is a 1 year contract position

The Loans Operations Analyst role is a key support function responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant end-to-end processing and servicing of loan products (syndicated, bilateral, revolving) and Banker's Guarantees (BGs) for the bank's Asia Pacific lending businesses.

Responsibilities

Loan & BG Servicing

• Executes all transaction lifecycle events (drawdowns, rate fixing, rollovers, repayments, BG issuance/amendments).

System & Data

• Inputs and verifies critical loan/BG data in core banking systems (e.g., Avaloq, Kondor) and manages Nostro funding/reconciliation.

Risk & Compliance

• Performs checks against AML policies, adheres to operational risk guidelines, and ensures control procedures are followed.

Reporting

• Conducts daily position reconciliation and prepares mandatory periodic reports for internal stakeholders (Finance, Compliance), Head Office, regulatory bodies (MAS, HKMA), and external clients/auditors.

Efficiency

• Supports process improvement initiatives to enhance system workflows and reduce manual processing.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in Loan Operations.

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Business, or Engineering.

• Skills: Independent worker, strong team player, multi-tasking under pressure, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

This is an operations and control role critical for ensuring the smooth execution, accurate record-keeping, and regulatory compliance of all lending transactions
