We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Loan Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for explaining loan products and contract terms clearly, guiding customers through the loan application process, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle customer enquiries efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
Explain loan products, contract terms, and repayment details clearly to customers to support informed decision-making
Guide customers through the loan application process accurately and efficiently
Perform proper due diligence and verify customer information in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate customer records and update client account information in the system
Handle administrative duties such as document processing, filing, and data entry to support daily operations
Engage professionally with customers during appointments to ensure a positive experience
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. MinLaw guidelines)
Deliver high standards of customer service to uphold the company's professional image
Requirements / Preferred Qualifications
Friendly, responsible, and customer-focused attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Basic computer skills (Excel / internal systems)
Customer service is an advantage (training provided for suitable candidates)
5-day work week (including weekends if applicable)
