Job Description

Responsibilities and duties

-Drive new client acquisition in Singapore's SME financing market, focusing on unsecured working

capital loans for businesses and personal loans for individuals

- Build and manage a self-sourced pipeline of borrowers through proactive outreach,

networking, and referral partnerships

- Conduct initial client meetings, assess business needs, and evaluate loan

suitability in line with company approval criteria

- Achieve monthly disbursement targets (SGD 200,000 for personal loans /

SGD 350,000 for business loans)

- Coordinate with senior team members for deal structuring, credit assessment,

and complex case guidance

- Maintain ongoing borrower relationships for portfolio management, repeat

business, and referrals

- Stay informed on SME market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory

updates affecting Singapore's alternative lending landscape

Qualification and Requirements

Must-Have:

- This role is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only, due to

current foreign worker quota limitations

- Strong business development capability — comfortable with cold outreach,

networking, and self-driven prospecting

- Resilience and accountability in a target-driven, commission-based environment

- Effective business communication skills in English, with the ability to

build trust with SME owners and individual clients

- Ability to operate independently and manage own pipeline with minimal

day-to-day supervision

Nice-to-Have:

- Prior experience in financial services, alternative lending, SME loans,

invoice financing, or B2B sales

- Established network of SME business owners, accountants, or referral

partners in Singapore

- Business proficiency in Mandarin, to communicate with Mandarin-speaking

SME owners and individual clients (a significant portion of Singapore's

SME client base)

- Familiarity with Singapore's Moneylenders Act-licensed sector or fintech

lending industry

- Working knowledge of credit assessment, financial statements, and loan

documentation
