LNG Operations Executive

The Position:

A growing energy trading platform with an expanding LNG trading presence in Singapore is seeking an LNG Operations Executive to support end-to-end trade execution across spot LNG cargoes and related trading activities. The firm is continuing to build out its physical LNG capabilities and is strengthening its operations function to support this growth.

The role will be responsible for LNG cargo scheduling, vessel coordination, laycan and nomination management, and liaison with counterparties, shipping agents, and terminal operators. The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate trade documentation, support trade confirmation processes, and assist traders in the smooth execution of physical LNG cargoes.

The role will also work closely with internal risk, finance, and operations teams to ensure trade lifecycle integrity, operational risk control, and settlement readiness within a fast-paced trading environment.

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will ideally have 3 to 8 years of experience in LNG operations, LNG cargo scheduling, or commodity trade support within an energy trading house, utility, or LNG shipping/logistics environment. Knowledge of LNG cargo logistics, shipping documentation, and vessel operations is required.

Exposure to spot LNG cargo operations and/or derivatives-linked trading environments is advantageous but not essential. Candidates should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a trader-facing environment. Some Mandarin language capability is advantageous due to regional stakeholder coordination.
