What You'll Be Driving
- Lead, mentor, and push a team of superintendents to deliver top-tier vessel performance
- Take full technical ownership of assigned vessels
- Reliability, safety, and efficiency are on you build, implement, and continuously optimise maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and cost control budgets with a sharp commercial mindset
- Lead incident investigations, cut through root causes, and ensure failures don't happen twice
- Oversee dry dockings end-to-end
- Make decisive calls on vendors and contractors
- Ensure seamless management of spares, consumables, and lubricants across the fleet
- Drive operational excellence in line with company targets and KPIs
- Take charge during marine incidents, ensuring swift and structured response
- Play a key role in vessel takeovers and fleet expansion, working cross-functionally with crewing, HSEQ, and marine teams
What We're Looking For
- Chief Engineer
- Currently a Fleet Manager
- Proven shore-based GAS vessel experience
- Strong track record delivering dry dock projects under pressure
- Deep technical expertise across propulsion and cargo containment systems
- A leader who is commercially aware, decisive, and not afraid to take ownership
