We are looking for LNG Contract Manager to join our growing team.
Position Overview: This role supports the Head of Contract Management in overseeing the existing and upcoming LNG contracts, with the key objective of protecting and enhancing the value of GasCo's LNG portfolio in alignment with the corporate strategy.
As a part of the Contract Management team, this role is responsible the full lifecycle of GasCo's LNG contract portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
LNG Contract Negotiations (SPA & MSPA)
- Lead the MSPAs and CN negotiations and execution, serving as the document owner.
- Prepare markups and comments reflecting GasCo's position for each term across all sections; seek input from other relevant functions for review and confirmation.
- Coordinate with the LNG Upstream and Downstream Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance teams throughout the negotiation and execution process.
- Support LNG originators and traders in term sheet and SPA negotiations.
LNG Contract Management
- Manage the implementation of LNG contracts.
- Establish the annual delivery program with the counterparty in line with GasCo's commercial strategy, optimizing embedded optionality working closely with Downstream operations and terminal operator.
- Manage the intra-year optionality and changes within the 90-day schedule window.
- Maintain accurate contract records and manage contract databases at ETRM.
- Manage settlements and other obligations arising under LNG contracts.
- Support for price reviews, disputes and renegotiations of contracts.
- Ensure all LNG contracts comply with applicable laws, sanctions regimes, and GasCo's internal compliance policies, monitoring regulatory and sanctions developments and assessing their impact on existing and prospective contracts.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point between Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure consistent and timely execution of contractual obligations.
- Facilitate internal alignment across business functions on contract positions and commercial decisions arising from the implementation of LNG contracts.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of LNG and gas physical transactions.
- Ability to review and analyse LNG contract terms, identify key risks and issues, and recommend practical solutions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in commodity contract management, with strong preference for candidates with LNG experience.
