Job Summary
Join one of our clients as a Lithuanian Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert and contribute to a high-impact audio AI research initiative with a leading research lab. In this role, you will support transcription, annotation, and evaluation workflows that help train and benchmark advanced multilingual language models.
This short-term, structured engagement is ideal for professionals with strong analytical and academic backgrounds who are fluent in Lithuanian and English and excel at transforming complex audio and visual content into precise, well-structured written outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Transcribe and Optimize Audio & Video
- Listen to, analyze, and accurately transcribe Lithuanian audio and video content following detailed instructions and constraints.
- Produce high-quality written outputs in Lithuanian, with supporting work in English when required.
- Ensure strict adherence to formatting, stylistic, and structural guidelines.
- Capture linguistic nuances including tone, intent, register (formal vs. informal), and regional variations where relevant.
Define and Document Evaluation Standards
- Establish clear expectations for high-quality responses in general consumer audio contexts.
- Develop comprehensive evaluation rubrics and grading criteria in Lithuanian and English.
- Document standards to ensure consistency across reviewers and model assessments.
- Identify grammatical complexities, linguistic edge cases, and language-specific nuances in Lithuanian.
Conduct Model Testing and Grading
- Run prompts through language models and evaluate generated outputs.
- Assess responses for accuracy, fluency, completeness, and instructional clarity.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve model performance in Lithuanian audio tasks.
Support Benchmarking and Quality Assurance
- Participate in quality assurance and review cycles to ensure deliverables meet project standards.
- Maintain consistency before datasets are integrated into official benchmarks.
- Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and refine task design.
Minimum Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Lithuanian (spoken and written) and professional fluency in English.
- Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to accurately transcribe and analyze Lithuanian audio across general consumer contexts.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Availability to commit 1020 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- College student or recent graduate.
- Academic background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.
- Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in Lithuanian.
- Familiarity with dialectal variations (e.g., Auktaitian, Samogitian) and contemporary usage.
- Interest in AI systems, language models, or applied research environments.
