Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Linux / Citrix Administrator (L2 & L3) to manage enterprise Linux servers and Citrix environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability while leading advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) to ensure system stability and performance
- Manage and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments to maintain high availability
- Deliver L2 and L3 support by handling incident management and escalation to resolve issues promptly
- Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning to optimize infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents to prevent recurrence
- Manage user access, permissions, and system security configurations to safeguard systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent service delivery
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in system administration
- Strong hands-on experience in Linux administration, including server management and troubleshooting
- Experience managing Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) environments
- Proven ability to provide L2 and L3 support in enterprise environments
- Proficient in shell scripting (Bash) to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
- Good understanding of networking concepts to support infrastructure connectivity and security
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware to support virtual infrastructure
- Exposure to cloud technologies including AWS and Azure for hybrid cloud management
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Python to streamline operations
- Knowledge of ITIL processes to align IT service management with business needs
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
