Linen Attendant (2-year contract)

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily washing drying ironing and folding of all residents laundries.
• Return each level's laundries after washed according to All Saints Home's laundry SOP in the stipulated time.
• Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided by All Saints Home during work.
• Follow All Saints Home's instructions for any soiled or biohazard linens.
• Separate any torn or worn laundries for replacement or repairs.
• Report any monies or personal items found on residents laundries to supervisor.
• Daily cleaning disinfecting of machines and work areas before end of every shift.
• Support supervisors on any ad-hoc works.

Job Requirements:

• Basic literacy preferred (able to read and follow instructions in English).
• Experience in healthcare setting will be an advantage.
• Familiar with linen handling, washing, and folding processes.
• Knowledge of IPC (Infection Prevention & Control) and audit procedures preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
• Able to follow SOPs and maintain hygiene standards.
• Able to work on a 5.5 workday week (Mon to Fri: 7:00am to 4pm, Sat: 7:00 to 11:0am)
• This role is based on site at our Tampines nursing home.
