We are looking for an experienced Production Line Leader who will be responsible for overseeing production line operations and ensuring daily targets, quality standards, and process compliance are consistently met. In this role, you will supervise a team of operators, coordinate across functions, and drive operational efficiency on the production floor.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and monitor operator performance across shifts
- Ensure achievement of production output targets, quality standards, and yield requirements
- Manage manpower allocation, line balancing, and WIP flow to maintain smooth operations
- Enforce compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, ESD protocols, and safety requirements
- Monitor production status in real time and escalate issues promptly to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and Engineering teams to resolve operational issues
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate production records and reports
Job Requirements
- Diploma or above in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a production setting
- Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge across production processes including assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, active alignment, and test (DB/WB/AA/test)
- Familiarity with SOP, Work Instructions, and quality standards in a manufacturing context
- Ability to track, analyse, and report basic production data
- Possess strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide line operators
- Possess sound problem-solving, communication and decision-making ability in a fast-paced production environment
