About the Role
This role is about ensuring residential lifts stay safe and reliable. You will be responsible for the hands-on maintenance and repair work needed to keep our community moving safely every day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and safety inspections on lift systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and passenger entrapments.
- Test and commission lifts to ensure they meet BCA safety standards.
- Manage service records and issue work orders for contractor repairs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on modernization and upgrading projects.
- Maintain tools and ensure a tidy workspace.
Requirements:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline with 2-4 years of experience in lift/escalator maintenance, building services, or a similar technical field.
- Familiar with BCA standards and safety codes (licenses are an advantage).
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic computer skills for reports.
- Professional attitude when dealing with residents and contractors.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Available for shifts, standby, and emergency callouts.
