Overview
Our client is seeking a committed and hands-on Lift Specialist to support the maintenance and servicing of elevator systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations across assigned sites. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, responding to service requests, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance of lifts and escalator systems according to scheduled servicing plans.
- Conduct inspections and identify defects, faults, or operational issues during maintenance activities.
- Attend to customer service requests, breakdown calls, and emergency recovery situations in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and carry out basic repair and rectification works where required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities and service records are properly documented upon completion of work.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety procedures, health regulations, and industry standards.
- Participate in regular toolbox meetings, technical briefings, and safety training sessions conducted by supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Environment (Vertical Transportation).
- Candidates with prior experience in the lift/elevator industry will have an added advantage.
- Entry-level candidates with strong interest and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

- Self-motivated, responsible, and disciplined with a positive working attitude.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willing to work on-site and respond to operational/service requirements when necessary.
