You will be part of the technical expert team of our Lift & Escalator Inspection Services under Real Estate and Infrastructure Division in ASEAN to support TÜV SÜD ASEAN growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist SPEs (Lift & Escalator) to conduct inspections of lifts and escalators for annual no load & 5-yearly load testing for lifts in conformance with applicable standards and regulations by BCA and MOM
- Perform site audits to ensure proper installation, operation and maintenance adhering to safety and performance of the lifts and escalators
- Conduct lift and escalator inspections based on the established process as required by the company and maintain accurate and proper records of inspections results
Key Requirements
- Registered with IES/ACES and hold LEI Accreditation
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Possess at least 5 years of practical experience in for lifts and escalators preferably in the following applications:
- testing and commissioning of new lift installation and modernization
- maintenance services including repair and emergency call reactions, fault eliminations etc
- construction and planning of lifts design for varied lift manufacturers
- Satisfactory knowledge of risk-based assessment
- Demonstrated physical and mental fitness required for high-risk lift and escalator inspections
- Strong team player with independent thinking
- Target oriented, systematic strong problem solver
