Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager/ Centre Manager (CM)/ Assistant Centre Manager (ACM)/ Senior Executive, Social Healthcare, the Executive works closely with the Centre in charge to manage the daily operations of the assigned Assisted Living Communities (ALC) so that it can fulfill its intended purposes as stipulated by the AIC, funders and LBSA.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management
Community Outreach
- Outreaching to senior of interest based on AIC's PHV data
- Outreaching to young senior aged 50 year and above
Relationship Management
- Assist to promote and advertise ALC programme to seniors and young seniors (not limiting to Queenstown)
- Assess and recruit new seniors as members by using the Community Screener Tool & other trained required tools
- Tier new member according to the given criteria
Volunteer Management
- Onsite screening at ALC after volunteers assigned by VM team to the ALC.
- Engage and support volunteers for activities
- Assist in identifying potential new volunteers among clients or from external.
- Provide input during volunteer appraisal and make recommendations to VM during annual appreciation & awards presentation.
Relationship Management
- Assist to engage community partners, build effective and sustainable partnerships with them to serve the needs of the seniors.
- Advocate the needs for seniors to external stakeholders and advocate LB's values & mission in the community.
Programmes and Activities
- Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes, along with the types of activity (within or beyond the Centre), ensuring that they remain relevant to the 5-dimensions of wellbeing among seniors.
- Research and explore new programme that is beneficial and relevant to young seniors well-being.
- Share observation of seniors in need to Senior Programme Executive/Befriending Executive.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of data for reporting purposes.
- Evaluate seniors engagement & participation level using tools/questionnaires.
- Produce creative collaterals not limited to posters.
Reporting
. KPI - Collect, document and report data of Active Ageing Programme Quality.
. Volunteer Experience - Satisfaction of the activities engaged with seniors and the volunteer retention
. Financial Reporting - Adhere and manage planned budget allocated to the program and centre. Ensure proper documentation of finance-related transactions.
Other Duties
. Any other responsibilities as assigned by the SCM/ CM/ ACM/ SPE
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience of work experience
- Good administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work in the evening and on weekends when required
- Good communications skills, preferably bilingual with dialects
- Good interpersonal skills, a team player, yet able to work
independently
- Resourceful and with can-do spirit
- Dynamic, quick thinking, adaptable and responsive to change
