Lifeguard

Responsibilities:

• Lifeguards shall assist all users of the Pool, to ensure the safe and proper usage of the swimming facilities.
• Administer first aid and CPR to pool users during emergencies or when users encounter distress during use of pool.
• Ensure that only authorized users are admitted into the pool.
• Ensure discipline amongst the users during the use of pool.
• Look out for any potential hazards around pool area and to prevent accidents.
• Carry out daily pool testing of the pH and chlorine levels within the pool on a daily basis.
• Lifeguards shall maintain a high degree of professionalism, work performance and integrity at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Standard First Aid certification accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council
• Valid CPR and AED certification accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council
• Bronze Medallion in Lifesaving accredited by Singapore Life Saving Society
