Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the practice.
- Manage schedules and set up appointments by coordinating with internal and external parties, including issuing calendar invites for both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Assist with conflict clearance checks and matter openings in accordance with firm procedures.
- Handle filing and service of court documents through e-litigation platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Conduct court searches and retrieve relevant legal and case-related information as required.
- Assist with the preparation and issuance of bills, including processing through e-billing systems, along with other general legal secretarial duties.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification certification in legal or secretarial studies is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the legal industry within litigation practice.
- Familiarity with court procedures, e-litigation platforms, and legal documentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with digital calendars and billing systems.
