Job Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents, templates, terms and conditions, and business agreements for OTC derivatives and financial products across all asset classes.
- Ensure all legal documents comply with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide legal advice on complex transactions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with counterparties to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.
- Provide legal support and guidance on the interpretation and implementation of ISDA agreements, term sheets, and other financial documents.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard form documentation and legal templates.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business operations and decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; a Master's degree or professional legal qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives, ISDA agreements, and financial products across various asset classes.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
