Legal Intern

Company Overview:

GasCo is Singapore's trusted energy enabler, committed to ensuring a secure, stable, and competitively priced gas supply to meet the nation's electricity needs. Established under the Energy Market Authority's initiative to centralise gas procurement, GasCo plays a vital role in safeguarding national energy security and supporting Singapore's economic continuity. We are looking for interested interns to join our team in the Legal division.

Role Overview: This internship experience will enable the intern to gain hands-on experience to support legal processes and compliance initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment.

Role Responsibilities:

KYC Coordination

• Assist in collecting, verifying, and maintaining Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation
• Support set up and maintaining a central registry for KYC records

Contract Review and Redlining

• Review and redline NDAs against our standard template
• Track deviations and maintain an exceptions list for non-standard clauses

Process Streamlining

• Support the creation of a centralized repository for NDAs, KYC documents, and exceptions
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the Legal & Compliance team

General Support

• Assist with compliance checks and documentation
• Participate in ad-hoc projects related to legal and regulatory requirement

Role Requirements:

• Current students pursuing a Law degree or Paralegal course
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with legal documents
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and forecasting
• Internship period from January to June 2026 (Full time 5 days commitment preferred)
