Legal Entity Controller - VP

The Role

• Lead financial closing, reporting procedures, internal control and ad-hoc analysis for the group's entities in Mainland China.
• Prepare financial, tax, regulatory reports, and internal forecasts.
• Review and oversee COE tasks, including AP processing, treasury management, and intercompany settlements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, including GST, transfer pricing, and corporate tax reporting.
• Manage audits and coordinate with external tax accountants and auditors.
• Collaborate with regional Finance, Legal, Compliance, and international teams.
• Lead process optimization and efficiency projects.
• Manage and develop COE staff, providing training and oversight.

Your Profile

• At least 8 years of public and/or private accounting experience, preferably in the private equity, fund management, or treasury industry.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting required; CPA or graduate degree preferred.
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is a must due to frequent interaction with Chinese entities.
• Solid grasp of corporate tax, GST, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, especially in Singapore.
• Possess strong technical and analytical skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required; knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively oversee and train overseas COE teams and foster collaboration across teams and borders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
