Responsibilities
- To Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and cross-functional teams on a broad range of matters, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
- Able to serve as a primary legal contact for business development, operations, and other internal stakeholders, delivering timely and practical legal solutions.
- Manage and oversee the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, as well as all related filings, registrations, and enforcement actions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including NDAs, sales agreements, licensing arrangements, vendor and service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- To be able to advise on legal, regulatory, and compliance risks, including data protection and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and liaise with government or regulatory authorities as required.
- Monitor and communicate changes in laws and regulations impacting the technology sector and assess their implications for the company's business.
- Support the development and implementation of internal legal policies, procedures, and standardized templates to enhance legal and compliance efficiency across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; admission to the Bar is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years legal experience, with hands-on exposure to intellectual property and compliance matters, preferably within the technology sector.
- Prior experience in industries such as AI infrastructure or data center operations will be an advantage.
- Well verse in commercial, and intellectual property law.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly within the technology industry.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
