Core Responsibilities:
1. Product Architecture & Contractual Frameworks
- Lead the legal and regulatory lifecycle for new market products, ensuring full compliance prior to launch.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and legal documentation for diverse financial and physical instruments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Risk, Commercial) and external counsel across North America, Europe, and Asia to ensure cross-jurisdictional alignment.
- Manage the transition of products from concept through formal market launch.
2. Commercial & Strategic Growth
- Architect legal frameworks for commercial incentive programs and market data initiatives, including execution with global counterparties.
- Provide legal oversight for the physical delivery of contracts, advise on disputes, and support Delivery Committee activities.
- Drive legal and regulatory planning for expanding the trading platform into new international markets.
- Partner with the General Counsel to implement high-impact legal strategies supporting long-term business objectives.
