Legal Counsel (Snr Manager/ Manager)

To provide in-house legal services to the Functions and Business Units in the Group in respect of the Group investments in India. Support to be provided from Singapore.

Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive legal support for the following areas:
. Mergers & Acquisitions
. Joint Ventures
. Financing
. Review of Vendor, Service Provider and B2B Contracts
. General Corporate/Commercial Transactions
. Dispute Resolution Management

2. Work closely with the Functions and Business Units in the Group to provide legal support for all transactions and matters of the Group investments in India and to achieve the commercial objectives of the business in a legally compliant manner, taking into account the risks involved and with appropriate risk mitigation.

3. Advise on regulatory and legal issues generally.

4. Liaison between internal stakeholders and external counsel in relation to external legal advice and its interpretation and management of legal costs.

5. Stay up-to-date on relevant legal and regulatory developments/changes.

6. Stay up-to-date on relevant legal and regulatory developments/changes.

7. Achievement of ultimate business objectives and risk mitigation 8. Cost, accuracy and effectiveness of external legal advice.

. Recognized Law Degree from a world class university
. Licensed to practise law in at least one major legal jurisdiction
. At least 3-8 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE)
. Excellent track record as in-house legal counsel and/or in private practice
