advising on the interpretation of legislation under BCA's purview;
advising on enforcement cases including reviewing of investigation reports and ensuring that sufficient evidence has been obtained to support the recommended enforcement action;
providing sound legal advice on a broad range of legal issues including advising on intellectual property issues; representing BCA in prosecutions related to offences under BCA's purview with AGC's support; and
working on such other areas as General Counsel may allocate from time to time.
[What we are looking for]
A good law degree (LLB Hons);
Advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore;
At least 6 years experience in private practice and/or as in-house counsel;
Strong analytical skills and can independently drive the completion of a matter with minimal supervision;
Possesses effective time management skills;
A team player who communicates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders; and
Prior experience in litigation matters is an advantage.
