Cana Consulting is partnering exclusively with an organization within the real estate industry. We are now looking for a Legal Counsel with experience in real estate sector to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers in law firms looking to transit in-house.
Role:
- Provide legal support on a wide range of operational matters, such as drafting and reviewing commercial agreements related to procurement, services, employment, and other business needs.
- Day-to-day- leasing support i.e. disputes/drafting of agreements
- Work with other in-house counsels and outside counsels, as required
- Occasional adhoc projects that would require candidate to be on transactions i.e. M&A, Joint Ventures, Disposals, Leasing, Financing
- Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts
Requirements:
- Called to Bar with at least 4 years PQE
- Real estate experience i.e. Corporate Real Estate or Real Estate disputes
- Candidates with general commercial litigation experience are welcome to apply too.
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Strong analytical abilities paired with commercial acumen.
- Proven capability to deliver pragmatic and strategic legal advice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
