other relevant functional areas related to the companys businesses, including procurement, information technology, intellectual property, logistics, insurance, legal risk management, human resource and corporate governance.
Recognized law degree and professional qualifications in a common law jurisdiction, being called to the Singapore Bar would be an advantage.
5 to 8 years PQE, preferably with some experience in a law firm and in an in-house role.
Ability to multitask and concurrently manage legal aspects of multiple substantial projects and/or matters.
Corporate transactional background (M&A, IT and/or corporate finance) and experience in multi-jurisdictional projects would be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to be sensitive to, and take into account, relevant commercial, strategic and/or legal risk management considerations and render mature legal advice and guidance.
Ability to work independently and to be an effective team player.
Flexible and adaptable; willing and able to travel for projects as required.
