Our client is a well-established and fast-growing digital infrastructure platform with a strong regional footprint. As the business continues to expand its development and construction pipeline, it is looking to appoint a Legal Counsel to support complex infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle.
This role is well suited for a projects-focused lawyer seeking to move in-house into a technically sophisticated, high-growth environment, working closely with commercial, engineering, and project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support across digital infrastructure and data centre projects, from development through construction and into operations
- Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, construction, consultancy, supply, and other project-related agreements
- Advise on risk allocation, variations, delay claims, defects, and dispute avoidance in active projects
- Support procurement and tender processes, including review of technical and commercial terms
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across projects, engineering, procurement, and finance
- Manage and coordinate external counsel on complex or jurisdiction-specific matters
- Assist in the development and refinement of contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal processes
Requirements
- 4 to 10 years PQE
- Qualified lawyer with strong training from a reputable international and/or top-tier local law firm
- Experience in Projects / EPC / Construction / Infrastructure practice
- Exposure to sectors such as digital infrastructure, data centres, energy, real estate, or industrial projects will be highly regarded
- Prior in-house experience is advantageous but not essential
- Commercial, pragmatic, and able to work effectively with non-legal stakeholders
