Legal Counsel (Oil & Gas)

Cana Consulting is currently partnering with a oil & gas company in hiring a Legal Counsel. This would be an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with sound shipping law and commodities trading knowledge to join a prominent player in the space.

Role:

• Review and negotiate on relevant contracts
• Management of disputes relation to the trading business
• Work closely with compliance team to ensure that trade compliance aligned with laws and internal regulations
• General corporate matters

Requirements:

• Called to Singapore Bar, 4-8PQE
• Shipping law/litigation background would be well regarded
• Good team player
• Lawyers with relevant experience from both in-house and private practice firms are welcome to apply
