Legal Counsel

Our client, a renowned global MNC, is seeking a mid-level associate for a 6-month+ role.

This role will sit as part of the Group Corporate Legal department and will support a range of corporate and commercial matters and projects relating to IT, digital services, media, marketing, competition law, retail and other essential aspects of any in-house legal role. In addition, there will be the opportunity to participate in interesting legal projects with high business impact and visibility.

This would be an outstanding opportunity for private practice lawyers seeking to move in-house and gain more flexibility to gain exposure to a wide range of in-house commercial issues.

The successful candidate(s) will have:

• Professional admission in at least one of the following jurisdictions: England & Wales, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, the US or Canada
• Between 3 and 8 years’ post-qualification experience at a leading local or international law firm
• Experience drafting and reviewing a range of corporate and commercial agreements with minimal supervision
• Prior experience with M&A transactions would be a distinct advantage
• Excellent communication skills
