Legal Counsel – US Capital Markets & Compliance (In-House, Global Tech Company)

Are you an experienced US securities lawyer seeking an exciting in-house opportunity with a leading global technology company

We are looking for a talented legal professional to join the dynamic legal team of a global technology firm, based in Singapore.

About the Role:

As Legal Counsel, you will report directly to the Legal Director and work closely with senior management across multiple business units. Your primary focus will be on US-listed company compliance and capital markets activities. You may also have the opportunity to engage in business legal work and project-specific legal support, depending on capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on US securities laws, compliance, and filings for a US-listed company.
• Support capital markets transactions, including potential private investments.
• Collaborate with multiple legal teams across regions such as Singapore, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan.
• Assist with compliance matters related to US-listed entities, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
• Work closely with the legal director and General Counsel.

Candidate Profile:

• Solid securities and capital markets experience, ideally from top U.S. or international law firms, with exposure to U.S. IPOs and listed company compliance.
• With 3-5 years post-qualified experience.
• Strong background in US securities laws.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus but not essential.
