Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other documents and render legal advice
- Provide legal advice and support to the group of companies on a broad range of commercial issues
- Handle the setting up of subsidiaries, associates, branches and project offices as well as the closing or liquidation of such set up
- Coordinate with external legal counsels and consultants as well as oversee the progress of their work
- Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal matters
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Prerequisites:
- Degree in Law
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with strong knowledge of construction law and experience in the construction industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, pro-active and independent
- High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Willing to travel when required
