The role, reporting to the General Counsel, is an integral member of ST Engineering Legal team. The incumbent will assist the General Counsel on all legal matters of the Company.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements, including procurement contracts, sales and distribution agreements
- Provide legal advice and support to business areas of Defence Public Security such as Land Systems, Marine, Defence Aerospace, Digital Systems & Cyber etc
- Identify, advise on and work collaboratively with operations to address legal and compliance risks arising from business operations of the Group
- Liaising with external lawyers on matters requiring specialised expertise or foreign law expertise
- Support General Counsel in all legal matters of the Group
Requirements :
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from a reputable university
- At least 3 years post-qualification experience, corporate practice in a recognized law firm preferred.
- Be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team of legal counsels to achieve business goals
- Analytical and possess strong communication skills
