About the Role
The role is responsible for our client's in-house legal capabilities as a trusted business partner to the Group CEO and senior management on legal risks and governance matters in a highly regulated industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of fund establishment and constitutive documents, with a particular focus on Variable Capital Companies (VCCs) and related fund structures.
- Support the incorporation and ongoing maintenance of fund and management company entities, including overseas office set-up; coordinate with corporate secretarial service providers.
- Legal interpretation of regulatory requirements affecting fund operations and licensing.
- Provide legal advice to the investment, operations and management teams.
Qualifications
- LL.B from a reputable institution
- Min. 5 to 7 years PQE
- Experience in funds / investment management legal work.
- Excellent leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
