Legal Counsel (Financial Services)

This is a regional financial institution looking for an experienced financial services lawyer based in Singapore to be a part of the growing legal team. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working in a demanding environment on a variety of legal matters and is ideal for those with a strong financial services legal background.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the various internal departments including drafting and negotiating of transactional documents and commercial contracts
• Provide strategic legal support to the business units
• Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in SG/UK
• Must have at least 7 years of relevant work experience, or have worked in a financial services industry based in Singapore
