Role Overview
We are seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support on product and transaction matters, with an initial focus on digital asset mining and investment-related work. The role reports directly to the CEO, and key stakeholders include business teams involved in mining, financing, and investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on mining-related matters, including advising, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal support on transactional matters, including financing, equity, and shareholder agreements.
- Support product launches and risk assessments for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding finance, operations, and project managementto align legal strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks associated with business activities and transactions.
- Manage external legal counsel and other third-party legal service providers as needed.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments relevant to digital assets, investments, and cross-border financing.
Experienced and Skills
- Qualification in a leading common-law jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, US, UK, Hong Kong) preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in legal work, ideally across product and/or transactional matters.
- Strong background in structuring, leading, and negotiating financing and investment agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with digital asset products and services is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple complex projects.
