Monitor Global Data Privacy Legislation: Track global legislative trends and developments in user privacy data protection and security. Analyze and summarize key points from data compliance enforcement cases. Conduct benchmarking research and long-term tracking of industry best practices and competitors data compliance capabilities.
Review Data Compliance Documentation: Review privacy policies and related compliance documents for the Skywork AI team. Provide professional advice from a data compliance perspective to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements in target markets.
Support Legal Risk Assessments: Support legal risk assessments for Skywork AI concerning personal information protection, privacy, and data compliance. Proactively identify risks and provide practical risk mitigation strategies.
Conduct Product Data Compliance Audits: Perform regular internal audits of product data compliance. Promptly identify risks, develop corresponding remediation plans, and drive and follow through on the implementation of corrective actions.
Manage External Data Matters: Proactively handle external matters related to data requests, inspections, and evaluations from regulatory authorities. Ensure timely and appropriate handling of such requests while effectively managing associated risks.
Requirements:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher. Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on data compliance.
Industry & Product Understanding: In-depth understanding of internet products and services, with familiarity of the internet industry's operational models (especially within the AI sector). Prior hands-on experience and a demonstrable track record in product data compliance is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the EU GDPR, US CCPA/CPRA, China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), and other major jurisdictional data protection compliance frameworks.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to collaborate efficiently across departments to drive project implementation.
Work Ethic: Proactive, results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership. Willingness to go beyond core responsibilities to achieve objectives.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English & Chinese (both spoken and written) as a working language is essential,as the role requires drafting and reviewing cross-border contracts and legal documents in both languages.
