This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a Group-level function supporting data governance and personal data protection initiatives across multiple business units within a retail organization operating in Southeast Asia.

You will be responsible for supporting the enhancement of the Group's data governance framework, including policies, standards, guidelines, and data inventory management. The role also involves assisting in risk and impact assessments, and providing advisory support to business units on personal data protection throughout the data lifecycle.

In addition, you will help conduct awareness training to strengthen data protection culture across the organization, support data breach incident investigations, and contribute to remediation action plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate data incident logs and preparing incident summaries and reports when required.

This position is ideal for a legal professional with experience in data protection and privacy, looking to develop their expertise in a regional retail environment across Southeast Asia.
