Legal Counsel - Data Centre
My client is a leading Data Centre infrastructure platform seeking a Legal Counsel to support the development, acquisition, construction and operation of large-scale infrastructure and real asset projects across the region. This is a highly commercial role offering exposure to the full asset lifecycle, from site acquisition and development through to procurement, construction, power and utilities arrangements, and ongoing operations. The position will work closely with senior stakeholders across development, engineering, procurement, finance and operations teams on strategic projects throughout APAC.
Responsibilities for this Legal Counsel - Leading Data Centre role
- Provide legal support on real estate, development and site acquisition transactions.
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including construction, procurement, supply, services and operational contracts.
- Support major infrastructure and capital projects from development through construction and delivery.
- Advise on power, utilities, grid connection and infrastructure-related arrangements.
- Partner with business stakeholders on risk management, contract strategy and project execution.
- Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements for this Legal Counsel - Leading Data Centre role
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification, Bar qualified from either Singapore, UK, or Australia
- 5-8+ years of legal experience, including 2-3 years in data centres or related infrastructure sectors.
- The ability to work closely with both legal and non-legal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
