Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, and construction contracts.
- Conduct legal due diligence and assess contractual risks.
- Advise project teams on contract issues, claims, delays, and variations.
- Handle disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters.
- Provide guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on business impact.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and training programs.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Law from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years relevant corporate/commercial law experience, preferably in-house.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly construction-related.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and associated agreements.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
