Legal Counsel, Reports To Chief Operating Officer / Chief Executive Officer
Singapore (Hybrid), Full-Time, Permanent, Senior (Individual Contributor) - First In-House Legal Hire
Date Issued: May 2026
Ajentik is a Singapore-based AI company building Elderwise - an agentic AI care-coordination platform that bridges hospital to home for older adults, caregivers, and clinical teams. The platform automates geriatric assessments, surfaces clinical insights, supports ageing in place, and connects patients, caregivers, and care teams across the continuum of care.
Ajentik was selected as a Harvard Top 10 Venture and incubated at NUS Enterprise. The platform is deployed across 30+ healthcare organisations globally, with documented reductions in administrative burden of up to 70% and measurable improvements in patient-care efficiency. As the business scales internationally, Ajentik is investing in a dedicated in-house legal function to underpin commercial growth, protect its intellectual property and clinical content assets, and bring practical legal structure to a fast-moving, regulated environment.
This is a newly created position and Ajentik's first dedicated in-house legal hire. The Legal Counsel will build the contracting and intellectual property foundations of the business, partner closely with leadership, commercial, clinical, and engineering teams, and bring practical legal structure to a fast-moving healthcare-AI environment.
The role is hands-on, with commercial contracts and IP / trademarks as the core pillars. The successful candidate will also coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions, support healthcare and data privacy compliance across Ajentik's global deployments, and provide broader legal advisory support to the leadership team.
